What is the closest Disney park to where you live?

I just checked and it's pretty much a wash between WDW and DL.... both between 2050 and 2150 miles away from here (Manitoba, Canada).

What's Vero Beach Disney?

It's their DVC resort on the East Coast. Not exactly a park but a nice place to visit and get the Disney feel. Although it is not quite the same since the previous hurricane season.

DisneyQuest Chicago used to be the closest Disney "park", but since it closed, the parks of Walt Disney World are once again the closest. I guess that technically the Magic Kingdom is slightly closer since we live north and east of WDW.

Walt Disney World (about 7.5 hours with a stop at Cracker Barrel for lunch, LOL!).

Disneyland!

Used to be about a 5.5 hour drive when I lived in CA, but now is about, oh, a 17 hour drive I would guess. Maybe a little less. We usually fly.

But I too would happily fly across country to WDW any day! :sunny:

WDW - and at 1500 miles away, that really isn't close enough. ;)

Like the poster from Manitoba, Canada, both. I live in a part of the country that is halfway between WDW and DL.

WDW.
Technically, the *closest* park is MGM at about 9 or 10 miles, which I pass on the way to AK every day, which is 12 :sunny:

WDW Florida for me.

In the early 1990's Disney had planned on building an American history theme park in Manassas, Virginia. It was going to be called Disney's Americana if I remember correctly. Writers, historians and locals banded together to fight the corporate giant's land grab and defeated it. Disney packed up it's bags and went home.

If the park would have been built, I'd be just under an hour away from a WDW park!

I remember when they were planning that park.

WDW somewhere around 1200 miles
