What is the cheapest internet provider?

I have verizon dsl and I pay $17.99/month. I've had it now for over 3 years and am satisfied with it. I used to have comcast but after the promotional period, it jumped up to $50 so we jumped ship and went with our phone provider.

I have AT&T DSL LITE - $10 a month! Available online only and I'm guessing for new internet customers. I've had it for over a year and am very pleased. Not the fastest but definately the cheapest!

Keep in mind internet brands like AT&T and Verizon are limited to specific parts of the country...

Verizon has the base speed of high speed internet (DSL) for $17.99 per month.

we live in Connecticut and unfortunatly Verizion is not here yet only cell phone which we have had with them... I am anxiously waiting for them to come here so that Comcast can get the shaft

I just reduced my Comcast Service from the faster service to their slower service. It should save me almost $20 a month. I figure that I will try it for a few months and if it is too slow me that I will upgrade.

DSL or Fios isn't an option where I live.
