We are Traveling on Wens night 4/4/07 and returning Tuesday day 4/10/07 but problem being Easter is 4/8/07 I am trying to find out apprx the cheapest airfare we would see come out for that time frame! More than likely we will be flying out of Philadelphia(PHL) to Orlando (MCO) any info is greatly appreciated!
:surfweb:

I paid $348 for two roundtrip tickets from PHL to MCO this past Easter. I booked with USA3000 in September 2005. We left on Wednesday and came home on Monday.

Unfortunately, I don't think they fly from PHL to MCO anymore.

I generally have a price in mind. When I can get that price, or pretty close to it, I book it. Check USAirways. It will give you an idea of what to expect to pay. When the other airlines open up, check them also.

Good luck from one South Jerseyite to another! :)

Southwest does PHL to MCO - you can get special fares by downloading and watching Ding! Although April won't open up for till later this year. On SW, I would expect to pay anywhere between $54 (ding) and $107 (promo - adv. purchase) each way + taxes.

With Ding! you might have to book 2 - 1 way trips for the best deal. For example, you might get a $54 Ding! for PHL - MCO for Tuesdays in the month of April. Go ahead and book Tuesday 4/10 for $54, and keep watching for a Ding! for Wednesday 4/4 - If you don't get one by 3-4 weeks out, book the advance purchase fare -- $107+taxes. Should still give you a pretty good price about $184 (with taxes)

The best price on expedia right now is $238.

We had them booked for our trip in October 2005 and returning in Nov 2005 we got a very good deal that's why we went with them had them booked as soon as dates became available and they cancelled in may or june it was! I was so mad! But I wound up paying only $10 more per person through southwest! :cool1:

Thanks! I appreciate it! From reading some of the threads on hear I was getting scared waiting for southwest thinking they would also be high! But if $184 or even $200 is high for them! I'll take it! All the prices I got so far with non - stop were anywhere from $237 to $269 I think they were Us Airways and American Airlines! I seen on one thread where they said expect to pay apprx $300 per ticket! That's crazy ! So hopefully they won't be that high! Thanks for the info! I will do that if a Ding becomes available thats a great idea to seal the one date! :) I got in patient waiting for Southwest to release our dates when we went in 2005 and wound up the airline cancelled on us! And we wound up going with SW anyway! I expect the rates would come out for april either 6 to 7 months out! But I will keep checking everyday! Thank You!

I think i got a great deal. I was worried because i really wanted to go to disney with my DD2, but i needed to buy her a ticket. Now listen to this. I found roundtrip airfair for $105. +taxes and the other fees. Its not out of the airport we usally go out of, we're in buffalo, it's out of rochester, which is like 45 mins away. But i was like what the hell it cheaper for all three of us to fly out of a smaller airport then it is to fly out of buffalo, which the rates were like 245 per person +taxes and fees. So i paid like 460 for three people. I found it on orbitz.! And the flight is through Delta! :cool1:

Wow! That's great! I drive apprx an hour for cheaper airfare! We drive from South jersey to Philadelphia! Because our airport here is Atlantic City Very small and nice but as of right now only 2 airlines fly out of there Spirit Airlines and Delta! And Delta never seems to have N/S flights! And spirit only releases so many seats at a time so you pay more until you finally hit a sale! So more than likely we will be driving an hour unless we get really lucky!!!

Well I live in SYracuse and we NEVER get good air fares so when I saw a DING out of Buffalo to Orlando for $54 yesterday I jumped on it - so now I am taking my DD later in June which I paid way to much $447 for the 2 of us YEAK!!!- and then in August taking my DS for 5 days (and my mom and my son's friend) - we paid with taxes $125.60 round trip each - was able to get a AP discount - so staying in a value for $330 for 4 nights - didn't need to buy tickets... why not go!!
