What is the big deck at BWV?

While riding the boat to Studios I noticed the large covered 5th floor deck on the last building by the tennis courts. Is it ever used?

The Boardwalk Villas (and several other Disney resorts) have fake roof features that look like decks or observation platforms.

I have just looked at some photos taken a couple of years back. If you are referring to the collonaded roof area facing the canal one side and the tennis courts the other, this is one of the 'fake' decorative roof featurs.

Thanks. I knew that someone would have the answer. Too bad it is not usable space. It would be a nice view.
