What is the better Character Meal - Tony's or Chef Mickey's

We will be a Grand Gathering and I wanted to know what would be the best charactor meal, the breakfast at Tony's (which is for Grand Gathering's) or a meal at Chef Mickey's. There will be 4 children ages, 11, 9, 6 and 2 and 6 adults. Thanks.

By default it's Chef Mickey's, as Tony's has no characters.

Actually the Grand Gatherings breakfast at Tony's DOES have characters, I think the same ones as Chef Mickey's, or close.

OP, I can only speak about Chef Mickey's. I am honestly not thrilled with the hot foods there, but they do have a nice selection of cold items as well as Mickey Waffles. My girls love it because they get to see the Fab 5, including Pluto who is a family favorite!

My apologies. I have never heard of nor seen anyone going to Tony's for breakfast. We've done CM's many times. The buffet is usual WDW buffet fare, the place a bit crowded & noisy, which is to be expected. I'd assume that the crowds would be less & therefore you might have better interaction @ Tony's.

We were thinking of doing the Grand Gathering at Tony's for my sons up coming 5th birthday. From what I understand it is not as loud and chaotic as Chef Mickeys tend to be because it is limited to a certain # of guests. I was also told by a CM that there is more 1 on 1 time with the characters. (But every time we have been to CM we've had great character interaction.)
But I think you get to sing and dance with the charaters then Tony himself comes out for anyone celebrating a special occasion.

I can not comment on the food, I don't remember what the menu looked liked at Tony's.

Do you remember what days it is offered?

Don't know about Tony's, but Chef Mickey's is great. We loved it on our last trip & are already reserved to go again on our trip in another week. Food is buffet style but pretty good breakfast. Character interaction is wonderful!!! I would highly recommend it.

Even though i've never eaten at Tonys ,Chef Mickeys has yummy food and you get a picture to remember it! I rather eat there then at tony's but thats just my opinion.
