Put water in a cup. Put a butter knife in the cup. Balance the end of the knife (either end) on your forehead while you drink the water. Focus on the knife while you drink. Works all the time for us.
Just relax your diaphragm. Put your finger at the place where the ribs join in the middle of the chest (trying to say this without being *d out) and concentrate on relaxing that area. This really works.

my first method is to take ten sips of water. but that doesn't always work. when it doesn't, i drink water "upside down." (bend over, put the cup against your top lip and drink.) sometimes, the water goes up my nose if i'm not careful, but it always cures my hiccups.
There is a little piece of cartilag just in front of your ear canal. Have someone stand behind you and push it back so that it covers your ear canal and hold it while you take 10 sips of water. I don't know why, but it works every time!
