What is the best week in sept to go?

I am planning to go to wdw next Sept with DH mom dad and what will then be my 12 month old. ( I am due sept 24) I have been at wdw Columbus day last year so I know about the weather, but when is the best for crowds? Love to hear trip reports from this year! Hope everyone has a good trip! We're going the 16th-23rd. I tried to avoid the food & wine festival at the very end of Sept thinking that it would be more crowded during the festival. Not sure of that though. It's just my stradegy.

We planned a Sat to Sat trip. But now I wish we would have planned Thursday thru Thursday. The airfare would have been cheaper. Plus my husband would have had Fri/Sat/Sun with us at home after the trip.

Have fun planning. That's half the fun!

That would seem to make sense to avoid F&W. We went last year and it was fun but the crowds over columbus day were very bad, we did ok but it was just me and DH, I need low crowds to take the whole tribe+ baby! Please let me know what your experience is when you get back.Have a great trip!

I'm interested in the responses also. I have talked my DH into a trip , just the two of us. Usually just my DS (20) and I go but he wants to skip a year so I begged DH. Needless to say, I would like the trip to be as perfect as possible so maybe he will go with me again. September is definately the month we are going too.
