What tours have you taken? Which was the best and why? I am doing the seas aquatic tour but looking into wanting a few more. This is a solo trip for me
Tell me your experiences! I am thinking keys to the kingdom maybe? How many rides do you get on that tour? Still just 2? Other advice?

Our favorite so far is Wild Africa Trek in AK. We have done it twice and will do it again on our next trip. The first part of the tour is walking then your group gets in its own safari vehicle and they drive you around and make a bunch of stops to discuss the animals more extensively. Crossing the rope bridges was great too and you stop at 2 lookouts (hippos and gators) along the way and talk to the CM's that care for the animals. We always do the 10:15 tour so we get a nice lunch on the savannah, I think earlier groups get more breakfast type foods. The guides are extremely knowledgeable. While it is expensive, it has been the highlight of our trips. They also take pictures the whole time that you can download at home.

We did Keys to the Kingdom - it wasn't our favorite - I know a lot of people love it. It was too long and we were tired and ready to leave by the end. It seemed like there were places where we stood and baked in the sun, I had a pretty good sunburn when done. I zoned out a few times over the last hour or two. A lot of the info I already knew from watching the Travel Channel. The utilidors were disappointing, we stood in the hall while she pointed at pictures and we were in everyone's way. Eating lunch at CHH was nice - we didn't do that before. We did 2 rides HM and JUngle Cruise - the Jungle Cruise part was great - we had our own boat. Other people have said they also did Pirates but we did not. Maybe it was our guide, she kept scratching her nose the whole time like she was about to sneeze and after watching that for 5 hours, I was done.

We LOVED the tour Marceline to MK which was not a bad price and 3 hours long. Jessica was our guide and she was beyond excellent. This is not offered everyday, I think only on days when the park opens at 9am and the tour starts at 8am. We walked about and got a lot of great info. We did the Haunted Mansion again but what was great here is that you have headphones on and our guide sat in the middle and talked the whole ride. On Keys to the Kingdom, they dumped info on you before you went in but then you rode the regular ride. The info she gave while on the Marceline to MK tour was great. Then the best part was we got to go backstage and under the Haunted Mansion to see how the ghosts in the ballroom really work. Well worth the price there! We then went to Winnie the Pooh which we enjoyed - I finally had to break my Mr. Toad protect and ride it. Glad I did. Then over to Carousel of Progress where we had our own room and she once again talked into the microphone so we got to see the show with all the extra information she pointed out. I don't want to give away anything, but it was well worth it if you enjoy COP. The tour then came to an end after that. Jessica was awesome and you could tell she was not just a CM but a big Disney fan. I was very thankful we had her as our guide!

Have a great trip! pixiedust:

You got to go see haunted mansion ghost effects? I am in for sure! How recently was your tour? Some revie2s of marceline to magic kingdom don't include haunted mansion as a stopm has anyone else done this tour recently who can confirm if it is a stop? I would love that!

We did Keys to the Kingdom tour. It was good - I think it all depends on your tour guide. We did Haunted Mansion, Pirates and Jungle Cruise for rides. We went in the utilidors but we only really saw the hallways and looked through a window and pictures on the wall (so that was a little disappointing). Saw "backstage" or whatever it is called - went behind splash mountain ride and saw where the parade floats are stored and behind the stores on main street which is just a parking lot. But it was neat to see mk from a different perspective. We ate at columbia harbor house upstairs. I thought it was interesting and something different to do. Our tour guide was really good and had good stories. We got a keys to the kingdom pin that looks like a key. I still wear it every time I go back to disney world!

That other MK tour the previous poster wrote about seems really cool. Seeing how the ghosts work in haunted mansion would be awesome!
