what park IN order from best to worst for a 3 1/2 year old...

and what rides would they like the most

any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks :wave2:

cant imageine this matters...but a BOY.

unless of course he 's going to a tea party in a dress to meet cinderella....lol

Just wondering because I have a little girl that is about to turn 4 and the best things for her to do when she first gets there is to go see Castle and Cinderella. Such as, the first night we get there, before we go into the parks is going to be dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

Now for a little boy, I would do MK first to get the meeting of the mouse over with.

The Magic Kingdom is. Ever aspect of this park is just so magical. Especially with Fantasyland...it is perfect. :thumbsup2

Okay, here's my list that I send to my friends. My kids have been going since they were 18mo. and they love these three parks. My oldest is 7 and this year we're going to try to do more at Epcot.

Animal Kingdom - boneyard playground, Camp Minnie & Mickey - charaters
Festival of the Lion King, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade - 3pm, Rafikit's Planet Watch & Maharajah Jungle Trek - zoo, Triceratop Spin

MGM - Al's Toy Barn - Toy Story characters, Beauty and the Beast Live Show, FANTASMIC night show, Honey I shrunk the kids playground, Meet & Great with Jojo and Goliath, Motor Car Parade - 4pm, Muppet 3D Vision, Playhouse Disney live stage show, Voyage of the little mermaid

Magic Kingdom - Ariel Grotto - only place you can see Ariel up close
Buzz Lightyear's ride, cinderella carrousel, country bear jamboree, Dumbo flying elephant, Indy speedway,it's a small world, Judge's Tent - Character spot, mad tea party, Parade - 3pm, PhilharMagic 3-D-indoor a/c, Spectromagic parade, Storytime with Belle - act out story with belle,
tomorrowland transit - slow ride good for naps, Toontown - mickey & minnie house, Wishes fireworks

IM sure he go for the characters..well actually Im not sure..he may be terified..buy I wa thinkin more along the lines of rides...

I think my first stop was Jungle cruise..cause he loves animals..and then the tiki birds...he loves birds..and then from there..I dunno..

Just took 2 & 4 yr old boys last year...here's mine best to worst:

MK: Mickey's Philharmagic, Donald's boat (huge hit, but they get very wet), Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Flying Carpets, Splash Mountain, All of Toontown (especially Goofy's Barnstormer), Tiki Room, and of course all the characters. Spectromagic Parade is also a huge plus.

AK: Boneyard-they loved this, but be prepared to go crazy trying to find them, Kilimanjaro Safari, A Bug's Life (one liked this and the other didn't), Drums on the bridge to Africa,

MGM: This is actually a tie w/AK. They liked Star Tours, Little Mermaid, The Animation show, great character interaction, loved the Stars and Motocars parade, Playhouse Disney, oh and they liked Prime Time for lunch

Epcot: My youngest LOVED Figment, they also enjoyed Universe of Energy and the Mexico ride. The aquarium was in rehab while we were there so we didn't get to do that. Soarin was also a hit. That's really it. A lot of it was too old for them.

Hope this helps!

MK hands down!

They will enjoy everything in Fantasyland, POC, Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Buzz Lightyear, Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, Mickey's Toontown....

EPCOT is second

The Living Seas
Spaceship Earth
Journey Into Imagination with Figment
The Mexico Ride
Maelstrom
Kidcot funstops

MGM 3RD

Beauty and the Beast on Stage
Playhouse Disney
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Muppetvision 3D
Indiana Jones
Lights, Motors, Action

AK 4TH

Safari
Lion King Show
Hester and Chester's Dinorama
The Boneyard

Whoops! Can't believe I forgot Muppets 3D at MGM...my boys also loved this! Glad you said that tink! :thumbsup2

Just did WDW with a 2 and 4 year old (girls - not mine).

The order that we did things were

Magic Kingdom
Animal Kingdom
MGM

The girls actually wanted to see all the animals over anything else but were awestruck when they saw the castle. I actually think that we could have started with AK first.

We saw many characters, Their autograph books are FULL! I took a picture of each of them and insert it into the book next to the autograph.

Okay, this is my last comment. If you have time to do all the parks (which it sounds like maybe you do) I would not do the best ones first. We saved the MK for near the end and I was glad we did. I think the others would have been a let down had we done it first. Also, I would plan more than a day there if you have the time. Okay, I'm going to stop talking. right. NOW! :rotfl:
