What is the best deal I can get for this vacation?

Hi guys new member here. I want to go to disney on august 19-21. I would like to stay at either the Fren Quarter at Port Orleans or the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Those are my two favorites. Can anyone tell me how to get the best deal for both. I am a florida resident too by the way. The room is for 2 adults also.

I also plan on getting that 3 day play pass with the park hopper...is that a good idea?

Due to construction at the AKL, very limited is available (if any) and it's rumored that Disney isn't allowing any rooms to be booked until 9/1. Currently there are some Florida resident rates as well as a resort only code...

Florida Resident rates: (requires proof of residency at check-in)

This is a really great rate, and you should call and inquire about what hotels they have available for your dates. Mention that you woud like to book under the code FDS and you should only have to put down a one-night deposit with the remainder balance being paid at check-in.

Room availability with this code are slightly limited, but maybe with both FL resident discount and this code, you'll find a great rate! Also keep in mind if being flexible with your resort or even your dates.

I always use www.mousesavers.com for the latest discounts and it's a fantastic site to help with savings. Check around there and you might have some luck with discounted tickets for FL residents as well!

I suggest calling and booking through Disney directly but there are some fanastic travel agents that can be found around these boards if you would feel more comfortable that way.
