What is the average score for fireworks??

Since I see lots of people say they get 1300 credits for game (GASP!!) and lots of people that say they get none, what is the average score? But with these quests I am doomed! My highest is 196,000 (Yes pretty sad! I didn't even get to 200,000) , so the pin is almost impossible for me. I just wanted to see how many other people are struggling like me and how many people have "Up in the sky" scores. Thanks!

P.S. To me, the game seems a bit unfair. If you get ok scores, but you are playing against super experts, then you can't even get onto the second round to have a chance! So technically, there is no way to practice unless you play with most newbies (hard to do).

Edit: I know average about 200,000! Better, but still kind of sad lol. See my other thread for details. My highest is now 217,000.

Well basically you have to practice at each of the levels until you become a pro at that level, and then you can move up. It took a while for me, but with practice (and some things like a good mouse, turning the sound off) you'll start to move up more.

Currently my highest score is 267,000, which I got yesterday

I agree that you get better with practice. I can remember being excited when I was able to get over 200,000. Now I can get 200,000 at the end of level 4.

I usually score between 250,000-255,000 a game. However, my personal best is 265,000.

To get the 1300 credits per game you need to:

1. Get to level 5
2. Pass 240,000
3. Not come in first

You will find a wide average, depending on how long the person has been playing. Last June, I had no mouse. I literally had to get my son to man the arrow keys while I used the touchpad mouse on the laptop. So excited to break 200,000 then!

Late July I got my wireless mouse and lap table and started playing obsessively. I won my fireworks pin (past 240,000 and not first) on my birthday, July 28!

Didn't play VMK from Sept to March but didn't seem to lose much momentum. It's like playing a song you've memorized on the piano, it's just there once it's there.

My average scores are mid 250,000s up to high, and highest ever was like 2 points below 270,000 which I despair of ever getting again until I can replace my wireless mouse with an optical wired gamer.

My highest score has been 242,971. I've only been able to reach 240k 3 times since I started playing in September. But, with more practice, I should reach it again.

Generally my score ranges from 215,000 - 235,000.

Maybe I need to get one of those optical wired gamers that Demon was talking about. Unfortunately for me, most of those types are too big and uncomfortable for my smaller hands. :rolleyes:

My average seems to be about 220,000. The highest I got was 233,000 and I haven't been able to reach that again. I'm beginning to think that 240k will be impossible for me.

My average score right now is between 265,000-270,000. To be honest I don't think you will be able to obtain an accurate average based on the scores on Dis. And frankly I wouldn't know how to get an average given that there are so many ppl that play and scores vary all the time.

But the average I would guess would be between 180,000- 200,000; that's my guess.

My range of scores falls from 237 K (in a bad game) to 260K in a really great game- and once I hit 270K (once)

I would say that I can plan on a 245K in almost any game though...

My scores range from about 220,000 to 237,000 (I have yet to break 240,000...but I am working on it! LOL I never thought I would get this far, but I do agree that practice helps a great deal. I remember when I finally reached over 200,000 -- it was a great day!! :thumbsup2

I get 200k in every game and come in third or fourth i jst keep playing so i am building up to 240k

My average score is somewhere over 240,000 points. Most of the time I slack off the last round so I do not come in first place and can get the higher credit score. If I am having an exceptionally good game going into the last round I will try very hard to beat my old high of 262,000. :cool1:

I do know that a newer computer is essential to getting a lot of points. When I first joined vmk we had an older computer and the fireworks game was nearly impossible. I could only score around 12,000 points. After we got a new computer I scored over 30,000 in the first round the very first time I played. :banana:

I think the graphics were too much for the old computer to handle. Anyway it is my favorite game on vmk and my main means of collecting credits. Keep on clicking those fireworks!!!

I don't know how you guys do it. I'm lucky if I get 60,000!

The game I seem best at is Haunted Mansion, but even that one is frustrating for me. Sometimes my character won't move, and then all of a sudden it will disappear and reappear a few inches down the corridor, like my graphics are trying to catch up or something.

I don't care too much about the scoring, but it's frustrating that I can't get certain things like a spacesuit (trying to get this for my dd who shares the character...and since she is young and can't type too fast, she doesn't really talk to people, she just walks around, drives around, dives and shops!) because I just can't do well on the Jungle Cruise. The highest I got, and that was with my daughter steering and me taking the pictures, was 23,000.

Oh well....

My personal best ever is 272,842. I have gotten 272,000 three times now, but I seem to hate fireworks game now because I played it too much... I used it to get 4 bat magic, 5 snowman magic, 1 quest machine, 1 whole river ( about 100,000 credits worth ) and so much more. It is really boring after a while, so now I'm trying to master the other games. My high score for pirates of the caribbean is 29,500,my best jungle cruise score is 48,750, and the most ghosts I have gotten ( alone ) in haunted mansion is a whopping 130 ghosts!! Still yet to get car magic though... :surfweb:
