I thought Disney started charging as adults from age 12, but when I went to Hotwire to purchase they said ages 3-9. Does anyone have a current child's voucher to verify this?

The Breakfast Feature vouchers that expire May 31, 2005 say "GUEST 3-9" on the upper right corner. The VKLs simply say "CHILD" on them.

Thanks so much! We want to use them at Chef Mickey's, obviously this won't work for my 10 yr old. Does anyone know what the tax and tip works out to for 2 kids + 2 adults? I'm thinking of maybe just buying them for hubby and I if that makes sense...

The very nice CM didn't have a concrete answer about if children ages 10-11 could use all the children's vouchers. What she said was that in most WDW restaraunts, children's prices run through age 11. She encouraged me to purchase the children's vouchers for my DD (will be 11). She said that since Disney's dining policy is children are through age 11, we should treat them as such when making PS. She said that it shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name (not that it would ever help). I think I will just buy the children's vouchers, and pay the difference if there is any problem.

Could anyone who has used the children's vouchers for kids 10-11, or will be using them in the next few months confirm or deny this? I want to be sure to get the proper vouchers for DD. Thanks!

Tax is 6.5% of the total food bill. A gratuity of 15% is what is commonly accepted as the standard for tipping. DH usually tips 20% for good service b/c the math is easier.:)

For breakfast at Chef Mickey's the prices are $16.99 for adults, $8.99 for Children (3-11). For 2 adults, 2 child, with taxes and 15% gratuity, the total cost comes to around $60.

I used the children's vouchers for my DD age 11 at Chef Mickeys, Cape May, Donald's breakfastasaurus, Princess, Cindys, Crystal Palace. I didn't even notice the age 3-9 thing on the voucher. When my vouchers came, I stuck them in my Passporter and didn't take them out until we paid for our meal. The CMs didn't even ask.

Yep $60, that's what I figured -after I grabbed my calculator! Buying the vouchers, if we could use 2 adult and 2 child, ends up being $58.50. I'm going to skip these and just buy my Q&C vouchers.
Thanks again!
