Is that Saratoga Springs Resort directly across the lake from Downtown Disney? Google Earth has the resort way over to the left and I'm not sure how far it extends.

Yes Saratoga Springs is directly across from DTD. It's a big resort and very pretty.

Thanks! It does look beautiful, but I will most likely not be staying there. I live about 15 minutes from Saratoga Springs, NY. It would feel like I never left home!

I also live about 15 mins from satatoga & haven't stayed there for the same reason

Being from downstate NY and having lived Upstate for 4 years, I always thought I wouldn't like Saratoga because it would feel too much like home, but it's disney, and it doesn't look anything like NY. I've also been living in Washington State for 8 years now, and I would still stay at the Wilderness Lodge.

I have been to Saratoga N.Y. Several times and SSR in Disney although it is a beautiful resort looks nothing like Saratoga N.Y. So if you really want to stay there give it a try!!

We have walked to Downtown Disney from SS. Nice resort.

It is across from DD. That makes it not convenient to any of the parks, so keep that in mind.
