What is supplied?

Just wondering what is supplied by DCL. Do they give you shampoo and soap. If so is it any good? Also how is the hairdryer or should I bring my own from home. The less I pack the better. Thanks

They give you packets of shampoo/conditioner (all in one) and lotion. They also provide bars of soap, I believe. There is a hairdryer in the bathrooms but, IMO, it doesn't work that well. It looks more like a vacuum cleaner hose with a long attachment on it. IMO it gets too hot and doesn't do a good enough job. I usually bring my own. I believe somebody here on the DIS has a picture of the hairdryers so hopefully they will post it.

The shampoo, soap and lotion are all pretty nice! I brought extra home. I have long hair and I pretty picky about my shampoo and conditioner, so I did have my own last time.

Bring your own hair dryer. There are nice compact ones for travel that put out decent power! I have a tiny one that is about 8 oz that folds up and worked Waaaay better than the one in the cabin.

I would bring your own shampoo and conditioner...the ones they give you made my hair like straw, it was terrible! They are in cute little Mickey packages but didn't do anything for my hair!

I agree, aprilgail2. I have enough trouble w/my hair as it is (getting it to do anything, it's very limp), and the shampoos/conditioner made it even more lifeless. (or scary, ).

silly question, but are the bars of soap that are supplied those little tiny ones like you get at hotels, if so I'm thinking of bringing my own...I'm sure I can squeeze a couple of bars of soap in my already PACKED bags!

I love the soap, the shampoo works ok for me but its the 2-n-1 stuff I like my own we bring it in little bottles from the drug store just fill them up with a weeks supply + some and were ready!
The lotion from the poly I'm addicted to I asked for lots of extras and never tryed the ones an the ship
