We are thinking of changing our August reservation from BLT studio to Poly studio. Does anyone know what the view is in a standard view? The water view is out of our budget!

Thanks.

Either garden pathways or parking lot.

While requests are not guaranteed, if you request Moorea building I believe it will not have a parking lot view.
Pago Pago has about half the rooms with the parking lot.

Do we know what the ratio is of std. view vs lake view is going to be there yet?? Wondering if it's 50/50 or what. I'm also thinking about a studio there (NEXT year) and the std. view definitely fits our points better….

When everything is declared, there will be 72 lake view, 288 standard view, and 20 bungalows.
PVB may be the rare exception where standard is easier to book than lake view.

The only rooms I would not want to stay in are the Pago Pago standard view rooms facing the parking lot.

Just ran across a picture on Tikimans FB page from a poster (Chris) that shows the Pago Pago rooms from the parking lot:

You will be looking at the monorail as well in those Pago Pago rooms. We took this view of Pago Pago from the monorail on 11/29/14. The monorail runs along the edge of the small parking lot.
