What is replacing the disney club card

just got off the phone to disney club and was able to extent my membership beyond our septermber 03 expiry

she did say at one time the dec 12th date was in effect but she assured me i could relay to any "present" disney club member that they can extend their "membership" on a pro rated basis at your renewal date

ours cost 7$ or so to extend from september until december 03

thanks for the original poster of this information for letting us know about the ability to pro rate our membership until the end of "DC"

At this point I am a little leary of getting a Bank One Credit Card. My SIL used to work there and I have heard a few not so nice things about how they manage their credit card accounts and I know they aren't too great with their employees.

You may not know, but Bank One is merging with First USA. I have no idea who is in charge, but that organization will be huge. I only know this because I have two First USA accounts and DH just opened a Bank One and they both are accessed via the firstusa.com site and we got something in writing indicating the merger. I know nothing about Bank One, but have dealt with First USA for YEARS without problems.

My view,

I have too many credit cards already, but will wait to see what they offer.

BTW, There are lots of other threads on this subject out there...

I have heard of that... I thought one may have bought the other one.. I would have to ask my SIL.. In regard to their service, let's just say she worked in Account retention and they had some really funny 'tricks' they would do to retain the account.. Many thing she refused to do regardless of how it effected her numbers. That's why she didn't stay.. I will say though, for all I know all Credit Card companies do it...
