What is preferred seating?

I just saw a thread on here asking about preferred seating for Aladdin. What is preferred seating? What are the pros/cons? Who gets preferred seating?

Preferred seating for Aladdin and other various shows.

It generally comes with a Disney Package.

The advantage for the Aladdin Show is those with these tickets, are let into the theater before the main waiting area. Giving an advantage to better seating for the show. Most people like to sit right in the center front.

What sort of Disney package? Would that be booking your hotel and park tickets through Disney? Is this an advertised bonus (the Aladdin tickets)?

We've received these when we have booked a Disney hotel and ticket package either through Disney Travel or AAA.

Also in the package are a lanyard, trading pin and luggage tag for each person.

Thanks for the info. We just called Disney and booked our hotel and tickets (including an AP). Doesn't sound like we did a package deal or anything.

If you booked with Disney and they are sending your tickets, itinerary, etc.. then you should get all the above goodies as well. They use to come with a voucher for a free Disneyland backpack but they took that away. Like stated above you should get a voucher book with coupons and preferred seating for Aladdin, a parade, and Muppets, and then voucher for a lanyard and trading pin along with luggage tags for each person going on the trip. The most valuable is definitely the Aladdin ones. We never used our others on any of the trips.
