Parents at WDW this week and are considering DVC membership. When they mentioned at the booth that the won't possibly outlive the contract time, the representative at the booth suggested that they "piggyback" onto my membership. I can guess what I think it might mean, but does anyone out there know what DVC means by this? Any information would be appreciated so I don't stear my parents or myself in the wrong direction here. TIA

I think that means buying an add on to your membership, but you could add them as associate members? Although, as associate members, they would not get the AP discounts, unless they live in your household, as they'd have no membership card.

Personally, if I were your parents, I would buy my own contract and either add your name to the contract as an owner (assuming they want you to inherit it) or just register it in your parents name and let the DVC ownership be addressed in their will as part of their estate.

Or you could change your current contract to add their name then add on and everything would all be under one master.
