I have seen several post mentionning Photopass. What is it and where does one get it? If it has something to do with photos, is there a cost? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There are a lot of posts about photopass if you do a search on the boards. There are CMs at disney that will take your picture and give you a little card like a credit card the first time they take your picture. Every time after that for your trip give it to the CM and they will swipe your card for your pictures. You can then either purchase individual pictures when you get home or you can pay $99 for them all to be put on a disk. The only price is printing them or paying for the CD.

you carry around a card....like a credit card. Though i can't remember how we got ours....they just give it to you.....

at the parks there are many photographers around. They swipe your card & take your picture.

Then upon leaving the park you can go to a designated location and view/purchase your photos - when u get home, you can also look @ you pics online & purchase.

Many feel that this is over priced and a waste of $$, but it is an excellent way to get photos of the entire group....for the most part, these were the only pics that we had of the whole family. It IS worth taking a look at the pics. Get a pic of the group in front of the castle....for example....on main street.

I have read on the threads that you can have more than one photopass and at the end of your trip when you are ready to purchase the CD, they will combine the pictures. Is this true? My sisters and their families are going with us, so it would be great to have one CD.

YUP!!!! we did it with our friend .

Hi -- we just got back and loved Photopass.

We made a point of having photos made just about every time we saw a photographer. At the end of the week, we had four Photopass cards (carried by different parts of our group through the week). We took them to the camera center, had them combined and bought the CD for $99. We had a total of 201 photos -- I consider that a great deal! As someone else said, those are the only photos we have of the whole group together.

It's definitely worth it if you'll take just a couple of minutes when you see a photographer and have your picture made.
