What is owner 's locker ?

I've read in a thread someone saying I am bringing ...for my owner's locker ??? what is this ? I am a new DVc member and don't know about this ..

OwnersLocker is a service used by a number of DVC members to store personal items between visits. One of the owners of the service is a DVC member himself and another owner was one of the early DVC Guides.

There are a number of threads discussing the merits of the program on the Mousecellaneous Board.

We've been able to only need carryon bags since we started using OL. It's been great to leave items difficult to take on a plane as well as things not readily available at resort stores. We've stored things from scissors, to nail files, to a pizza pan, to several bottles of wine (and many other things) in our locker. Having our locker sure makes our Orlando trips more enjoyable. We've used the service both at WDW stays and also for stays at 5 other timeshares near WDW.

The service is not for everyone and a few who fail to see the benefit will often offer their comments on the boards too. Since OL offers a risk free trial, it's pretty easy to give it a try and see if it's for you.

Don't worry, you'll hear about it ad nauseum every time the opportunity presents itself. It's not cheap, and we personally would not get our money's worth out of it. I'm glad it works for some folks, but I really get tired of hearing about it so often.

I know some DVCers like it, but since we are light packers, and buy sample type items for our trip it really doesn't work for us. We find the small sample items to be very portable and we use them until they are gone.

Everyone vacations differently so I could see others finding value in it.
