What is " Not open for further replies."

How DVC Friend,
My account show " Not open for further replies." I cannot reply or leave message. I think other renters cannot leave me any messages too. Please adv why this happen and teach me how to fix.

The moderators have decided that the particular thread should not have more (or any) replies by the general membership.

Perhaps to keep the thread short for official notices from moderators and key members.

Perhaps enough has been said about the subject that further replies are repetitious and/or going off too far on tangents.

Perhaps the subject matter is about to become moot such as major closure of parts of the resort or rules about to change that a lively discussion on the thread would lead to a lot of members becoming confused or misled later.
