What is mythos??

Ive never been to universal before and we are going over x-mas break. What is mythos. I know its resturant but is it like THE resturant like the one everyone goes to?? or the only one?? Im stupid im sorry!!! lol

Do a search typing in "mythos" you will get many links with some great opinions of Mythos On the first page alone there are about 10 links having to do with Mythos.

It is a restaurant located inside Islands of Adventure. Many would agree it is the best in-park meal you will have! We always eat there more than once

gschmerl had a great description...."Mythos is in Islands of Adventure in the Lost Continent. It is right across from Poseidon's Fury.
Type of food? DELICIOUS! The food ranges from pizza and wrap sandwiches to exotic combinations of flavors. I had a coffee encrusted pork tenderloin that was out of this world. My friend had a tuna dish that was equally delicious. The desserts are incredible.
Yes you can make reservations. Some of the other threads (there are many about Mythos) list the number. Definitely plan a meal there."

Count me in as a Mythos Lover. My kids even love their pizza.
We had a wrap sandwich and pasta of the day. Great theming restaurant, great service and a terrific way to enjoy lunch or dinner and be served. Do not miss this place, it is truly one of the best things to do in IOA

I called yesterday (Saturday) to make dinner reservations for the night of 11/30/01 at 6:30 and was told that they are not sure what the hours of the park is going to be so they could not book me for dinner but did take a lunch reservation for the same day at 11:30. Eric

Again MYTHOS closing hours are variable since they tend to have a lot of special outside bookings. There was a birthday party book there one saturday evening.

For those of you who have been there how would you like to have your parents book your birthday party at MYTHOS??????

They tend to close an hour to 1-1/2 hours prior to park closing time, but if they have an evening special event coming in then they will stay open longer to the general public but not long enough to interfer with the special event.

Barry: Fantasyland is located a few miles South of Mythos, I'm afraid!!!

MIB: I have a feeling that Barry would be calling for at least 1/2 of his money back on THAT deal! Now if he was calling for ONE Victoria Secret model, and Winnie the Pooh's twin sister....then maybe he'd be happy if I showed up! LOL

Or perhaps we can take him for happy hour at the Alcheme bar, I might be looking more the part to him after that!
