To go about this. I'm trying to book 4 nights and the resort I want is only showing one night available. Should I book a backup resort that's open for four nights seperately as four different reservations one night each and then waitlist one night at a time and stalk?

I heard that it's easier to get one night fulfilled at a time. Or is that too risky and I should book two reservations of two nights each and two waitlists like that to replace? Or just book the 4 nights and waitlist all 4 together and hope for the best?

Am I allowed to book four nights and choose don't replace if found, jic I don't get all four nights and want to cancel the reservation thats broken? Any advice much appreciated!

You can only hold two waitlists at a time.

If you have plenty of points -

I would book an available resort for the 4 nights to be safe. If you would be happy with your Safe Resort booking, I would waitlist 4 nights at your other choice. Then stalk to try to get one/two nights at a time at your other resort.

Or you could book your safe resort, and waitlist two nights each of your other choice. You can choose "don't replace an existing reservation". If both the waitlists come through you can cancel your original 4-night reservation. But if you don't have enough points to book all "8" nights, you may not want to end up in a borrowing situation.

If you don't necessarily have enough points to cover two 4-night reservations -

Book the available resort in 2-night increments and do the 2 waitlists and use the "replace existing reservation" feature. Just remember you could end up with a split stay if both your waitlists don't come through.

Two-night waitlists are easier. But of course, never a guarantee that they come through.

And again, if you have enough points to cover, I would stalk as much as possible too. Book your nights as they become available.

Remember, if you do get all nights, the rooms must be the same room category to merge the reservations in the end.

Thank you, just wanted to make sure I had the correct thinking, I'm going to try for the two nights because I still have 2 other contracts pending and don't have all my points yet. I could live with a two night reservation if worse comes to worse but I would be mad if I only have one night 🤣🤣

Good luck!! Hope you can get all the nights you are looking for because one night is definitely not enough!

It is so annoying that you have to put everyone's name on address on each reservation geez it doesn't save people's info except my own haha

Eh dont mess with it until you get your set res, you can book whatever just being the only one listed. If you are planning to move at 7 and hoping on waitlist, just update it for everyone later.

Thank you! I didn't know that you could put one name and just update it later, that will save me a lot of time!
