What is Morning Madness? this is not a ticket request

I need a short and sweet explanation of Morning Madness in DL. What is it exactly?

Mickey's toontown morning madness? It is pretty much the oppertunity to get into toontown an hour early. There is a little parade I'm pretty sure they hand out pins and afterwards you have the oppertunity to get autographs and meet some of the characters. I honestly can't remember if any of the rides are open during that time I'm sorry. I hope that helped

Just to add, there is a small stage show done to open Toontown.

Great, thanks! I'm guessing it is then geared toward the younger crowd and my 20, 16 and 11 year old kiddos will be okay passing on this one!

Unless they want a little fun with characters or are hoping to ride Gadgets Go Coaster with a small wait, you are probably right to skip and spend that time doing other things.

Do they give you tickets automatically?

The tickets come with select packages through Disney Travel Company on-line and AAA. I think Costco might also include them. Someone will know a more complete list.

If you have never been, I recommend it. You have to have tickets to get in. I always go through Disney Travel, so I always get everything. Check with your travel provider if you are not with DT. Morning Madness is of course in Toon Town. It is on an early admission day to the park. Of course when they drop the rope for early admission you go straight to toon town entrance. There will be someone there to check tickets and let you in the gate to toon town. Mickey & the gang will come out & do a big song & dance, make everyone citizens of toon town. Then they will sign autographs and pose for pics with you & yours in toon town. We go every visit & most of my favorite pictures from each trip are taken there. GREAT PHOTOGRAPHS with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofey, and others. Disney only lets so many people in each time, get reservations in advance.

Ticket come with packages that are booked through WDTC, the Walt Disney Travel Company. Some 3rd parties book your trip through them like AAA and Cosco. A DLR package includes tickets and a hotel room.


MTTMM is not alway on early admission days, known as Magic Morning. Magic Morning are usually Tue, Thur, Sat and Sun. Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness is on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat. Depending on Season Toontown opening time varies.
