I would assume it is internet on your phone. you need the plan if you plan to use it. or be very careful, the smart phones can suck up data from the cell towers at an alarming rate. someone posted $175 in charges for two days use!!!!! and they prpbably had no idea that service was being charged to them.

like your phone showing the current weather, it sends a request then recieves data from somewhere to show it on the phone. if you get a smart-phone you ahve to be real careful to not ring up data charges...

and $45 is the monthly plan? For ulimited data and texting? Grab it!!!! watch for "three month starter rates" and a two year contract at $700 a month after that, type change. hehehehehee

Actually sounds like a great deal! I have prepaid through Virgin Mobile and this is a MUCH better deal. I think I'm going to switch.
