I don't stay on Disney resort, but I remember being at magic kingdom 2 year ago on Mickeys not so scary Halloween party

I'm sure the park closed to me at a certain time? And the park remains open for people who purchased Mickeys not so scary Halloween party?

Because last time I surpassed my stay by nearly an hour, no one asked me to leave? But I was in a que already on a ride and begun a slow walk out the park any ways, How they know if I'm a Halloween party purchaser if I'm already in the park? And what it exactly involve? I tried looking on official website but can only see youngsters trick or treating

As someone much older and probably look very silly trick or treating (like that stop me) I'm more interested in riding rides at night time is this possible?

But confused on the event

Thanks

The parties are a separate ticketed event from 7pm to midnight on select nights in Sept/Oct and sometimes on November 1st. The park closes to regular guests who are not attending at 7pm. They give out wrist bands to those who purchased tickets and are attending the party. It is a 5 hour event with special shows, fireworks, a special Halloween parade that is shown twice each party night, they give out bags for the trick or treat trails, and there are minimal wait times for most of the rides. Trick or treating around the park is for all ages and not silly at all. Adults and kids do it.

I have only been to the Christmas parties, but will be attending MNSSHP in September. They have CM's stationed everywhere checking for wristbands... at least this has been my experience going to the Christmas parties. They do a pretty good job clearing the park of guests who did not buy tickets.

they check for a wristband at EVERY ride and EVERY character stop

there is a parade and trick or treating - and adults trick or treat too!

Not all nights are party nights, so if you're only interested in riding rides at night, don't bother with the party. Just check the park hours schedule - if you want to be in the park at 9pm, make sure the park is still open at 9pm. Party nights show a closing time of 7pm.

It is a 5-hour event, but with your party ticket, you can get into the park at 4, three hours before it starts. To me, the best thing about the party is that most rides have a very short wait. They also have a very entertaining parade which you can't see at any other time, and meet and greets with many characters you can't often see. The meet and greets and trick or treat lines are very popular, which is the reason that the rides often have a short wait.

For all of these reasons, the party is a great value, but I would only go to one on a day in which I didn't go to any other parks. We usually save it for the end of our trip, and use the rest of that day for packing, resting, and sleeping in.

Cool wow sounds exciting especially lower Que times, I like the idea of midnight that sure to have night time rides but being offsite haha prob take me 1-2 hours getting back to hotel

I check the schedule and see if a non party day is open late prob weekend

I'm set to go at end of September :)

I dunno what it is but riding rides at night seems better :D

Trick or treating I would do lol and the parade sounds special so may highly consider this as my girlfriend wants to do rides at night and we by universal studios but she won't do universal lol

Others have explained the hours but I just wanted to say my wife and I often go with have no kids. It is our favourite event we love it! The parade is great.
