I'm making pretty good progress here.. My granddaughter will be here shortly and we will trim the Disney Princess Christmas tree, bake our cookies, and put together her gifts for her Mom, Dad, other grandparents, and my DH..

I have everyone's gifts wrapped except my DH's, my Mom's, and my son-in-laws..

I guess all I really have to do is finish wrapping - decide on, and buy the food for Christmas Eve - and that's it..

How is everyone else doing? :)

I have bought all the presents, sent out all the cards, but one, wrapped half the presents.

So I have to send out one card, wrap some presents, plus I make two photo collages each year, and I have to scan the pics on the the computer to make those, them make them and buy the photo paper to print them, so the one major thing i have to do is the collages.

Since I spent a little time looking at what I've bought for my 2 DSs - I feel a little better. Even as grown children, we find ourselves still doing the "evening-up" thing! (older DS lives at home, younger one still in college - maybe in a few more years it'll be different!)
So I have a few more things to buy. Almost nothing is wrapped. 2 stockings to buy and put names on. The baking I'll do on Monday & Tuesday. (since I work in a school, I'm off!) Unfortunately, there are still a few cards to send out - I WILL do that this AM!
Good luck to eveyone on getting stuff done!

There are a few presents left to wrap. I need to make cookies and fudge too!

I have to make some MORE cookies for my ex-co-workers, yes I said EX! I worked there for 15 years and made chocolate chip cookies for them every year and got calls BEGGING for them...

I also need to get a few small gifts for my son to give his aunts. I give him some money and he runs rampant through the Dollar Store! Funny, they always turn out to be favorite gifts!

Otherwise I am THROUGH! :teeth:

----------------------------------

One year everyone was having financial difficulties (us included) so I made a "rule" that I would NOT accept any gifts - unless they were from the Dollar Store..

We have at least 4 different Dollar Stores in our area (all carrying different merchandise) and it was the best Christmas ever!!!! I got some of the neatest stuff!! :)

I loooooooove the Dollar Stores and always find the greatest stuff there!

What can I say? I'm a real cheap date.. LOL :teeth:

I am constructing 30 gingerbread houses today...all pieces are baked and ready to go.

We just got back form Wal-mart. I bought everything for Christmas Eve dinner so that is done! PHEW!

I have to send out two cards.
Find a white elephant gift for MIL.
Christmas Eve we have to put together Avery's kitchen.

That's all! :)

I have 2 presents to buy and plenty of wrapping to do. I hope to make some cookies on Wednesday but we'll see how that goes! Good luck to everyone!

I have to do a gift card run, finish wrapping presents, and make brownie mix in a jar. I think I'm doing O.K.

Just put up the tree an hour ago:eek: Have decided not to put on any glass or breakable ornaments with our new kitty!! We are leaving Christmas night for Florida and I'm going back and forth getting Christmas stuff ready (dinner here with family) and getting clothes etc. together for trip.

All I have left to do is make goodies for DS's daycare. I think I have a couple of Christmas cards left to send out since I was slow getting addresses for a few. That's about it. :)

Buy the ham, cook the Turkey & carve it, make the punch & open tins:D

I still have to go buy a tree!,and tons of presents. I PLAN to bake cookies with my son, niece and nephew Christmas Eve, but that will only happen if I get everything done by Tuesday evening.

All the big stuff is done now. I just need to clean my house and grocery shop for Christmas Eve dinner!

Cards sent, gifts purchased, house decorated, cookies made.

Just need to wrap the gifts, make the conoli shell and filling.

I need to wrap a couple presents, clean the house, might hit the store for a few last minute groceries tomorrow and ENJOY THE SEASON!!! :teeth:

Happy Holidays to all!!!:wave2:

Still need to finish shopping (tomorrow night) and wrapping gifts...
Need to make a grocery list for everything that's needed for Christmas Day and will shop Tuesday morning. Need to finish cleaning the house (Monday). Need to get a card and restaurant gift certificate for DH's Dad and step-Mom (their main gift is a donation to the local Christian radio station). Need to finish filling stockings for the Grandchildren too. I had hoped to be done with everything but the food by this weekend, didn't happen...but it will get done. :teeth:
