What is happening????

We have booked our holiday to DLP for Nov 2008, we have booked a holiday package with Thomas Cook Direct travel Agents.

Traveling by Euro Star (Disney Express)
5 day park tickets
4 nights in Dream Castle Hotel

Extras we have booked:
*Buffilo Bills Wild West Show
*Tea with CHaracters at Plaza....

We booked in January and have a letter to confirm our booking,
However when i emailed our Hotel (Dream Castle Hotel) to order a Birthday Package, the Dream Castle Hotel replied and said that they could not find our details on their reservation system
I gave them our name, date of stay & number of nights etc... even told them the name of travel agents we booked with and gave them our holiday reservation number but they still say that they can not find our details???

Not sure whats happening ?

Chances are that Thomas Cook will have an allocation at the hotel for that date but will not yet have provided traveller details to the hotel.

That is what I think as well

When you have booked with a travel agent most requests have to go through them rather than with the hotel direct

Pheeeew! thanks for the reasurance, i was getting all worried about it and there was no point calling the travel agents as unfortunately they keep you holding on the line forever!

I would imagine you only need to order something like that a month or so before (however I know if it was me I would want to get it sorted as soon as!). Very often if you book through an agent they may only provide the reservations team with the guest names a week or so before (or even later than that).
