What is happening to Palio's?

Does anyone know what this will become or if it is just being refurbished? When will it re-open?

I don't know what is happening, but when we were there we walked by the restaurant a couple of times when you would expect there to be some diners and it was bare. There was a large group dining on one occasion and the rest of the place (that you could see) was empty.

Oh no...this was one of our favorites....best italian food on property IMO. Why are they ruining it?

Is it open right now? I've got ADR's for late September and now I'm thinking maybe we should pick a different spot... Thoughts / Suggestions?

When we called to make ADR's for November 25th the CM said that Palio's is closing in August for refurbishment. She said that the computer system is unable to make ADR's for that time as they don't know specifically what date Palio's will reopen. She said if we wanted to chance it we could just go by (or call) and see if they're open that day. According to the CM I spoke with, Palio's was just being refurbished not being replaced by an entirely new restaurant.
