I had the grilled veggie panini three weeks ago, and it was wonderful! The sandwich is pretty big.
They also have a nice selection of dessert items, from large cookie to the more elaborate items. We've had some on previous visits and found everything very tasty. Again, the portions are pretty good size.
Everything I've ever had there was great, but I've never met a pastry I didn't like... But my favorite is the chocolate twists. They are a white pastry with a chocolate filling and mini chocolate chips down the middle and then twisted. So yummy!!!
Cinnamon Bun!!!!! It is DELICIOUS! I found out about them years ago when Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel did a WDW show and she was right, worth getting up early for that sweet treat!
The turkey pannini is very large and good, too. My DW and I have shared one for lunch on several occasions both dining outside on the BW when weather permits and back at the room.
We also ordered a small cake in May for our son's "welcome home" celebration at the FF from the BW Bakery. It was outstanding.
Do they still have the cinnamon yummies, last time there they removed them from the menue, hioe there back one of our favorates and we will be there nov 2 for 10 days at the BWV
What time is the bakery open to? I am going to take my DBf to the Boardwalk one evening and know he will be missing his daily ration of cakes and buns at home
We are DVC members at the Boardwalk Villas and always get our breakfast every day friom the Boardwalk Bakery. Without doubt the Cheese Danish are the best - my nephew says that it's worth the 9 hour flight from the UK every year just to eat his first Cheese Danish from our balcony overlooking the Boardwalk!
Other yummy things include the carrot cake and the lunchtime sandwiches which we often have as a mid afternoon snack while resting our poor tired feet at the tables outside on the Boardwalk.
We once had a room in the Boardwalk Inn over the bakery and were woken every morning to the fabulous smells of apple and cinnamon. However 5am is a little too early for some so don't go for that room if you're not early risers!
Has anyone heard of something called a banana split cake? I could have sworn I read it on a trip report once but cannot find anything about it now.
The cinnamon buns and cheese danish sound yummy!
I love anything with apples and cinnamon and pumpkin too so I am hoping with it being Oct (we leave 2 weeks from today) that the bakery will make a few seasonal items for us to snack on.

Yes, I had the banana split cake there a few weeks ago. I couldn't remember the exact name until you mentioned it. Although I'm somewhat biased (I love all desserts), I thought it was excellent. Not overly rich, but not too light. There were some real chunks of banana in it.
