What is going on?

Hi! I'm new to this board, but have enjoyed all the info. I have gotten recentl Now down to business.

I need to know what's going on! I read here (and elsewhere) that parks are closing before the actual posted time, shows are cancelled or shown selectively, etc... We all know what I'm talkin' about.

However, when I call Gen. Info., they tell me everything is as posted, ie. MK closes at 7:00p.m. on the weekdays for instance, not 5 or 6. The operators tell me they have not heard of parks closing early. This is not the info. I'm getting online.

I'm trying to make some decisions on how to plan our trip in Nov., but it's hard to do when Disney says one thing and guests are saying another. Unfortunately, I think Disney is being dishonest.

Is anyone aware of phone #'s to the actual parks? Perhaps they will give the lowdown on when the parks are really closing, what's really showing, etc...

I really think this is a day to day thing. My impression is that by and large you won't miss out on much. I would plan your day based on maybe an hour less park time then posted. leave yourself an hour of dead time. that way if you get there and park hours are as posted, you've got an extra hour, but if they're reduced your covered. Remember, even with reduced hours, your unlikely to miss out on anything.

I don't think Disney is trying to miss lead us.
