What is "free dining"?

I have read in several threads comments about going in Sept/Oct. and it being "free dining" therefore the restaurants were impossible to get into without ADR's. We are considering an early October trip this year and I tried a search on "free dining" only to get the "server too busy" screen. Any help would be appreciated!! TIA!

Instead of doing their typical discount codes, buy 5 days get 2 free, etc as they have in the past, last year they offered the Dining Plan for free as an enticement to get folks to come down during that time.

When do they usually announce such a promotion... in other words we're going in December, and would I be better off waiting a while before making any reservations?

thanks!!! :cutie: :wizard: :scared1:

December is the great Christmas season, so I don't see them doing the free dining then, unless it's for the 1st two weeks of the month.

Nope, make 'em anyway and when the promotion is first announced call up and try to get the discount added- we did last fall and saved $400 on our trip!
