What is Fast Pass?

I am going to Disneyland in May with my one year old grandson. We want to take him to the dumbo and peter pan. What is fast pass? Who can get them? Where do you get them?

This is my first trip in more then 12 years and I am not familiar with this system.

At DisneyWorld, (I don't know about DisneyLand) attractions with FastPass have a ticket dispenser that you put your entrance pass into. Then you are given a slip of paper that tells you when to return and enter in the FastPass entrance. The wait at that time is minimal. It is a free service offered to park patrons. There are many attractions that offer FastPass in all 4 parks. If you look on this website and www.wdwig.com you may get may get a better explanation.

You had said that you didnt know if Disneyland had FASTPASS. Just incase someone off the street asks you... they do.

So it does not matter what kind of ticket you have in order to get fast pass?

Nope, it doesn't matter. Single day, 2 day, park hopper, annual pass, they all work. Definitely utilize fast pass. You'll get so muc more done!
