I have been only to the Crystal Palace(b) and the LTT(d). My first experience with both of them was last year, we had a late breakfast and it wasn't too busy. The food at both places is excellent, however my last experience (last weekend) at both wasn't so good. The characters barely stayed long enough for a picture, in fact some didn't stay at all. I was a little disapointed, so I figured next trip we'd try somewhere else.

So where is YOUR favorite place for B, L, or D?

How's the food, atmosphere, character interaction etc...:D

Our family's all-time favorite is Chef Mickey's for dinner. More often then not, the characters have spent time w/our DD and don't appear too hurried.:D

I also like Chef Mickey's. My kids love it. It is like one big party with the music and when they swing their napkins. We always do the breakfast and the food is really good. We have gotten some great pictures with the characters. One thing to watch is when you sit by the window make sure you take the pictures away from the window. We took a few with the kids and the characters with the windows in the back ground without thinking and they didn't turn out as well.

My favority is probably 1900 Park Fare for breakfast or dinner. The food is good and I've always had good character interaction there. Chef Mickey's (at dinner, haven't done breakfast) was also good. Donald's Breakfastosaurus and Ohana I found to be pretty poor in terms of character interaction. The characters came around only once at both places and stayed only long enough for a picture. We're doing CRT, PSB, CP, and GG on our next trip and hope they are great!

We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Crystal Palace for any meal is great. Loved 1900 Park Fare for dinner. We also love Ohanas (characters?). Didn't care for Donald's.

My parents brought my kids to breakfast at Cape May in The Yacht & Beach Club. They had a very late breakfast, and there weren't a lot of people there. I have never seen so much character interaction. I have some wonderful pictures of the kids dancing with Goofy and playing tic-tac-toe with Minnie. It is also very close to EPCOT, so it was easy to walk to and from the park for a little break from the crowds.

We have ate at every character meal that Disney has going. I would have to say my favorite has to be 1900 Park Faire.

We have been there for both breakfast & supper, enjoyed them both.
They have a nice selection of food. The characters are fun & playful.
The service was decent....we just always had a great experience whenever we ate at 1900 Park Faire!

Chef Mickeys is great for breakfast! Every time we have been there we saw many characters throughout the meal. They've always been gracious enough to take pictures with us, even though we're a couple of 26 yr olds. :p

Chef Mickeys for breakfast is our constant favorite. Weve been 5 times now and the food is consistently delicious, with a wide variety and we always have great character interaction. Goofy at the entrance is always extra fun!

We also love Chef Mickey's for breakfast - we always eat there for our 'last hurrah', after checking out and before heading home. It is a wonderful, festive way to end the vacation. I must say that we've never had a bad character meal experience. We also love Cindy's breakfast, plus 1900 Park Fare, CP & LTT for dinner. The food has ALWAYS been excellent. We had 1 experience each at 1900 PF & CP where character interaction was less than usual, but each was during an extremely busy time & wasn't actually bad, just adequate.

We plan to return to all of these during our next trip, plus we would like to try Garden Grill - haven't done that one yet.

We ate at Crystal Palace in July at an 8:15 PS. Maybe the characters aren't as rushed first thing in the morning. We loved the food and getting into the park before it opens.

I think mine is a tie between 1900 Park Faire breakfast, and PSB breakfast.

Both simply due to the characters. The food itself rarely stays in my memories, and doesn't matter that much, but the characters that are there do. Our faves are the Princesses and Mary Poppins, and we were not disappointed with either. I am a big 'face' character person. Done Chef Mickeys, but honestly, the 'classic' characters arent my faves, so its not a must hit for us... I think alot of your faves come from which characters you love the most ;)

Thumbs up for PSB. Food is quite good and very plentiful; service is excellent; and the princesses' interaction is delightful. Our DD4 loved it. We had Snow White, Aurora, Mulan, and Jasmine. I swear they have Jasmine just for the DHs! :teeth:

We just ate at Chef Mickeys for breakfast this week and we loved it. Good character interaction and good food and service. We were there pretty early (7:30 am). It did get much busier a little later.

We also ate at CP for breakfast and were VERY disappointed in the character interaction. We were there at 8:10. Stayed for over an hour and the only character that came around to get a picture was Tigger one time. They paraded through with Eeyore and Piglet but didn't stop...just paraded. Finally we were ready to leave and our server had to take us over to Pooh. We still had to wait another 15 minutes for Pooh to take a quick picture with DGS. The food was very good and service was good. We just were hoping for a little more character interaction.

I think its a toss up btwn 1900 Park Fare and Donald's Breafastasarus. I loved the food at 1900 PF and the character interaction was great. The table next to us while we were there, the little boy was really shy and he hid under the table when Alice came around...she literally got on her knees and went under the table to play with him and his toys to try to make him come out for a picture...I thought that was so sweet of her! But the characters were great...and at Donald's Breakfastasarus, I loved seeing the characters in their Safari outfits...the food was good too. But those two are my favorites.

We also tried CRT, and Chef Mickey's...but to me, they were ok compared to the 1900 and Donalds.

All the character meals we did were Breakfasts only though...hope this helps.

ENJOY!!! (Can't wait to go back, we're gonna try LTT for dinner during MNSSHP! Yay!) :p

Hmmm, seems I have alot of catching up to do. LOL The only one we've ever done is at the Garden Grill and we do enjoy that one. (done it 3x) Our next trip we have Donald's Breakfastasarus planned as well as CP for dinner for DS's 4th birthday. Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever get my guys (DH, DS10 and DS3) to CRT, PSB or 1900 Park Fare. Well, maybe one day when it's just DH and I ;) but not unless they have Pocahontas at one... seems she's the only one that does anything for him  The boys just don't seem to be into the princesses.

Crystal Palace for Breakfast....WOW! It was amazing and the characters were great. My 6 month old tried to eat Tigger's nose!

My favorite character meal is a tie I absolutely love Donald's Breakfastausaours at DAK especially if you get in for early breakfast cause then you enter the park before its open and can get a head start once you finish breakfast but remember dont go on Dinosaur right after you eat.... the 'osaurs is tied with Chef Mickeys for dinner i love eating from the kids buffet.. they have really good mac and cheese...

anyways thats my story and im sticking to it ;)

Maybe you could talk your guys into trying it, if you don't stress the princesses. We've done both 1900 Park Fare & CRT with my DS & Dnephew, both 9 almost 10 last trip, & they both had a Great time. In fact, CRT is the #1 must-do choice of all our extended family. Everyone just loved the experience of eating in the castle. Plus the food was excellent. To top it off, our server was awesome. He was the epitome of the regal butler & he never broke character. The boys really got a kick out of him.

We've done 1900 Park Fare 3 times - twice with Cinderella, and once with villains - and we all love that too. The atmosphere is incredible and so is the food. We made little piggies of ourselves. You needn't bother with Cinderella, if you don't want to.

It's worth a try to see if you can persuade them...::yes::

CP for breakfast. Love the french toast. And, character interaction has always been good there.
