What is DL like during Oogie Boogie?

Is it packed with all the people who didn't go to the party? Or light since everyone is at the party?

My guess is DCA will be busy in the morning and then people will hop over to DL when the party starts. Again, guessing, but thinking DL will be pretty busy that night.

That’s my assumption too. Seems like the Halloween parties almost always sell out so it will be interesting to see the crowd levels in both parks.

Do you have that backwards? Party is at DCA. Only asking/correcting bc we’re there for 2 days and doing DL Thurs (which is a party night but we’re not going) and DCA Friday so my assumption was DL will be quieter that night w all the people going to DCA for the event.

I'm guessing there's a lot of people like me that picked dates and bought hopper tickets before the party dates were released. I realized that a party date fell on a day that we planned to start at DL and then hop to CA for the evening. Since CA will close to us at 6:00, I decided to change my park reservations to start in CA and then hop to DL in the evening. So there might be a lot of people that choose to start in CA and then go to DL in the afternoon/evening when the party starts. I'm wondering how parties affect crowds too since I've never been to parks on party days. I'm worried that DL will be more crowded in the evening since anyone who's buying a 1 day ticket will probably pick DL and those with hoppers will only have one park to be at once it hits 6:00. But oh well we'll make the best of it.

Nope I don't think I do, and yep I know it's DCA I have tix! yippee! Again, I said I was guessing but since it's a limited party all the rest of the people will then move to DL from DCA that have PH's or will just plan their entire day in DL if they don't have PH. I go on opening night to the party on September 9th so I'll be able to report back how it looked. Our plan is to start in DL and then at 3pm move over to DCA with our party tickets.

Yep exactly what I'm thinking!

Well Disneyland Park as opposed to DCA.
Also, might want to change your title from DLP to DL, since that stands for Disneyland Paris it may confuse people since you're actually talking about DL. Not the end of the world but might be worth it to draw more people. Great idea for the thread though, I was wondering the same thing about park crowds!

Ah thank you both! Good insights. This is my first trip to DL and it’ll also be my birthday so no matter what I think we’ll make the most of it and have a great time!
Such a great attitude! My husband and I are doing a trip just us and no kids. We plan on just taking it easy and enjoying walking around. Have a great time!
