What is considered a great rate at any of the Disneyland hotels?

We were lucky enough to get $225 at GCH during the Half Marathon last year. Sept 2011.

Not lucky this year...probably going to have to do a Good Neighbor Hotel.

The experience at GCH though...was unforgettable!:thumbsup2

We got GCH concierge for $400 a night including tax in mid-August 2010. I think it was a 5 nights for the price of 3 deal that summer. Haven't seen anything like it since!

Last February I got GCH standard for $157 a night. I was pretty stoked. I booked through Disney and this does not include the tax or parking. It came out to about $200 a night with those extras added in. I wouldn't expect to see this low of a rate again as it looks as though Disney won't be doing as many discounts in the future.

The week of Nov 27 - Dec 2 we paid $247 for GCH (which was 35% off of $380) and this coming Feb we're paying $156 for the PPH. -plus tax on both accounts

There is some type of service from airport to hotel (roundtrip) that you can pay for. Don't think it's called magical express, but we made that reservation for our trip later this month. I think it's around $30/person, round trip. It's sort of like Mears Transportation, but called something different.

Was it the Super Shuttle? It's a blue van, we normally take that. The DL Express only picks up on the hour for arrivals before 11a, my flight gets in at 916 so I'm thinking of taking the Super Shuttle again. :thumbsup2
