Hear Ye, Hear Ye...Thou is beginning to think that there is a conspiracy against lowly peasant folk to feast at the Royal Table in Cinderella's Castle.

We have tried countless times on two phone lines to book this event through the Disney dining telephone number for priority seating. We start calling in at 6:55 a.m. and get put on hold around 6:58 a.m. and are kept on hold for around nine minutes to be told that it is all sold out. We wish DVC members would have some priority on these special events. What is the secret of success in gaining a table at this popular event ?

Tammy

We did Cinderellas Royal Table for DDs bday in Dec. 2000. We read and were told by several Disneyaholics to call at 7am 60 days exactly to the date that you want to get the ressie. Unless something has changed in the last couple yrs. this should help to get you in the door.

It is one of the hottest spots to try to get ressies but dont give up, because it is a really special place to dine. My parents were with us and the emotions really ran high for them being at their GDs bday in such a magical place. Good luck on the ressies!

Hope this helps, let us know.

There is some good advice on the Restaurant Board. Just be vigilant and never give up. Also, I heard that try again 48 hours prior to the date and see if there are any cancellations from one of the CM's. You may want to make PS at the other Princess breakfast in Norway, just in case you can't get Cindy's if you have the need for breakfast with princesses.

With the time difference, I have to get up at 3:55 am to make the PS....it gets very tiring when I have to do this multiple days in a row!!!! Good luck!!!!!

I called one night, at around 7 PM, 1 month from the day I wanted, (Feb. 2002). The CM laughed and said "You don't want much out of life do you" Then a long Pause - and he said "I don't believe it, you have to be the luckiest person on earth - I have 8:45 am available." If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck, so it's possible. Just keep trying.

There used to be a time that it wasn't so nutz to get CRT breakfast. Member Services was able to book it for us, as well as our other priority seatings.

It was a nice service while it lasted, but I fully understand why they're unable to make PS's. As far as CRT, they don't open in time. For other PS's, it can mean having to make time/restaurant changes without knowing what the member would want as an alternative.

It took us 10 tries to get ressies here!! We used 2 phone lines and followed all the advice on the Restaurant board.

Keep trying!! Good luck!

It would be a nice DVC perk!!

Well, last time we wanted breakfast there I struck out on our first available day....only to end up being helped by Hurricane Floyd and getting in the next day (the day they closed backed things up enough because they ended up taking the reservations for 2 days at once....so it wasn't sold out by 10 min. after 7 when I got off hold)

Lo and behold....I got up this morning to attempt this reservation for Nov as my 2yo dd is a great lover of 'Rella (her name for cinderella) and all other princesses....got on the redial at 6:55 on my latest clock (the one that had the latest time showing....my one clock still said 6:51) and after about 10 closed messages, and 2 or 3 busy signals I got right through and booked it for 8:30. What luck! I could have been up at 6am for the next two weeks trying for this reservation during our trip....not something I'd look forward to.

Don't be too jealous though...we struck out on Thanksgiving dinner for Liberty Tree Tavern yesterday. I was on hold and my cell phone lost the signal, and dh tried from home but was interrupted by the previously mentioned 2yo waking up. I've tried twice since yesterday to get a cancellation...no luck. At least we have backup at Artist Point. Sometimes we get lucky, sometimes we don't.

All right, now I need to find blue satin on sale to make that Cinderella dress for dd........

Oh, and to add a quick note on the Epcot princess breakfast....
Remember that this is a 120 day ps and not a 60 day one. Nov. 29th has been booked up for 2 months already (yep, tried to get that one too late....but we have it booked for Dec. 13th). So if you want that one, don't wait until you've already missed out on Cinderella!

I've been trying for the Cindy's breakfast too. 2 strikes so far, I've been trying to play fair with only one phone line...BUT on Wed. morning I will have everyone in the house dialing as this is our last try! With a party of 8 (2 adults 6 kids) I doubt I will get a cancellation. My 4 yr old DD has been crying every morning I try. I am almost to the point of wondering if it is worth it. We've been twice before nad I don't remember it being so hard...I guess Thanksgiving will be VERY crowded.

I'm not even gonna stress about it. Called the 800 # today and booked the Princess Breakfast at Norway for tuesday, 1-28 (?) at 10:15. No problem at all. DD (4 yrs old) isn't even aware yet:rolleyes: that Cinderella is actually eating in the castle so what she doesn't know won't hurt her. I told her this afternoon that I called Mickey and asked him if we could have french toast w/ the princesses. That got her real excited and she didn't even ask where. Good luck w/ your ressies, but as someone said, don't wait too long if you decide to go to Norway as I understand it, they book up quickly also.

On my 5th day of calling I got PS at Cindy's for Thanksgivng and got LTT. I got connected at 6:58 according to atomictime.net and hung up at 7:03:30. It is tougher now than it used to be.

keep trying!!

I would try in a couple days, after they process the CC deposits, if the CC is rejected the PS is cancelled. Also on day 15 the deposit by check PS are cancelled if the check was not received.

Also trying calling again a little bit later in the morning in case people have cancelled double bookings.

I wish DVC members AND guests staying in Disney resorts would have priority somehow:p ! Seriously, they would probably sell more rooms if they had more perks such as this:D !
We enjoyed CRT a few years ago, probably need to try again for our next trip, I dread that calling! Good Luck!:D

Everytime I read one of these posts I understand why God gave me 2 boys! ;) I could NOT handle doing this. I would probably get so frustrated that I'd quit going to WDW all together.

Of course now I've jinxed myself because Disney will probably come out with a Toy Story breakfast and then I'll be up bright and early with a phone in each hand just like the rest of you. :)

Actually years ago, WDW resort guests did get priority for making restaurant reservations. This was before the Priority Seating system was in place and you actually made real reservations (not that it meant the table was ready on time....) When we visited in 1994, only WDW resort guests could make advance reservations for restaurants....everyone else had to make arrangements upon arriving at the park that day. It was nice having a reservation at the Coral Reef the evening of our arrival day. What a way to start!

Seems to me that if they'd like to increase bookings, perhaps they need to give resort guests a little head start on these things. Maybe make the princess breakfasts an on-site only perk. But they have to be careful walking that line between taking care of those who are paying for 24hr. magic and keeping the day guests happy.

Oh, and TigrLvsPooh....the first time we did CRT we only had a boy too. But that was when Peter Pan was known to attend that meal. Couldn't miss the chance to have breakfast with Peter Pan! He was really funny...climbing around on empty chairs as the restaurant emptied. The best character there.

We did Cindys breakfast for DDs bday and 6 yr old son seem to enjoy the Princesses just as much as DD...at least the pictures looked that way!

Guess what everyone???... I called Disney early this morning for priority seating for CRT and finally got in for the ressie on Nov. 30th. My very first try was for Nov. 24th, then Nov. 26th, then Nov. 28th, and finally for Nov. 30th. We were so excited and my almost four year old twins are even more excited. Then.......later on that morning around 10 am, I phone the priority seating line for a different ressie at our resort restaurant, Olivia's Cafe, and happened to ask about CRT again for my first four tries; and the reservationist couldn't get over how lucky I was to have an availability for Nov. 24th---------YES, YES, YES! So I booked that one and cancelled the one for Nov. 30th at 8:55 if anyone wants to try and book it. GOOD LUCK!:) :) :)

I got a ressie for CRT this morning :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Can't wait to go. Now these next 60 days are really going to dragggg. My nearly 3 yr. old DD does not know about this breakfast and I won't tell her now even. She is so facinated with "Cin'erella" and princesses. My DS5 will also get a kick out of eating in the castle, I'm not telling him either. I did use two phones, but it was my "land line" that connected first, my cell was still getting the "closed" message. Best wishes to all who are trying for this breakfast :D
