What is child swap? How does this work?

I understand that one parent waits while the other rides, but can my son (4.5 years) ride twice, one time with each of us??

If you have another child who is too small to ride, you will be able to use child swap. If everyone in your party is big enough to ride the ride (even if they don't want to), you will not be permitted to use child swap. If you are using child swap, another person is allowed to ride as well (so your son could ride once with each parent while the other parent waits with the smaller child).

On attractions with a height restriction if you have a child in your party who dosen't meet the height restriction and can't ride you are eligible for baby swap (or rider switch).

You all approach the line together and before the first party enters ask the CM to do a baby swap. The CM will give the parent riding 2nd a "rider switch pass". The rider switch pass is good for that attraction only and for up to 3 people (so the 2nd parent dosen't have to ride alone) and is used like a FP.

The child who dosen't meet the height must be present to get the RS pass. So make sure your party is together prior to the first parent riding and then you can separate.

The first party rides and the second parent can wait or leave the area and do something else with the child who is too small to ride. We often find a playground, get an ice cream, diaper change or do a favorite ride nearby.

Then anytime that day the 2nd parent and two others can return to that attraction and ride via the FP line.

Noticed you are traveling in Sept. YOu may not have to worry about it. We haven't used Baby Swap yet because frankly, it's not available when we are there. The lines are short enough for the 2nd parent to go through again.
