We are eating at Shulas at the Dolphin and we wre wondering if dress shorts and a golf shirt for dh and a cute pair of capris and matching shirt will do or do we need to bring dress clothes? We are going for a parents only weekend and are planning on only a carry on. Thanks :cool1:

That should be fine. They don't want beachwear, ripped clothing or T shirts that say stuff. Make sure your shirt is dressy or is a polo w/ a collar.

Truly, business casual would not include any kind of shorts.

If you think of an office setting you can not imagine that a man would wear in a pair of even very nice shorts.

In the office setting, business casual would be mean, for men, a pair of Docker-like khaki pants and a button up sport-shirt (or very nice polo shirt).

For women, dressy capris are fine.

Having said that, I do find that the signature restaurants at Disney ask for business casual but aren't sticklers for enforcing that.

There is no standard definition of Business Casual...every company defines their own parameters that define what is acceptable and what is not. Disney just got tired of the pool crowds coming straight from the pools to dine. So basically do not wear: tank tops, swimming suits or swim suit cover ups, t-shirts, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing of any kind.
