What is best day to check for US Air rate changes?

Seems like someone told me US Air offers the best rates on Wednesdays, but I am not sure. Is there any time during the day or night or particular day that the rates might change? I know it can happen by the hour, but wondered if anyone has noticed a pattern? Thanks.

I can tell you for AirTran, I noticed that rates were lower on Tuesday through Thursday. They even changed during the day; I got mine at 6:15 am and by the time my friends booked it in the afternoon, it had gone up $20.00 more than I paid.

Rates seemed higher on the weekends, which I would think when most families are all home and planning their trips. Since I was flying out with two friends, I didn't have to worry about the time of day I booked it.

I would check daily. There really is no set day or time anymore for rate changes.
