What is/are your child(ren)'s name(s)?

Thomas Reed.:rotfl:
That's all I've got, so far.

Our next baby will be Caroline Alden or William Blake. All are family names, and yes, I know William Blake was a famous poet!:lmao: I think he was really interesting so I am okay with that...but it is a coincidence.:)

Picking the name for our twin boys was a lot of fun.
I had girls names all picked out because I was sure I was having a girl. Turns out I was having identicle twin boys! My husband and I sat down and went through baby names one day and had picked out 3 boys names we liked, and a couple of girl names. We tried out our boy names with family and friends to see what kind of responses we got.

We decided on : Braden Thomas & Connor Andrew

Braden and Connor flow really nicely together. We didn't want any silly rhyming names or names that sounded similar.

My husband is Brazillian, and when he told his mom the names we chose there was a silence on the other end of the phone before she replied, "That's interesting". She has lived in the US for 18 years but apparently expected us to pick traditional brazillian names.:rotfl: She calls Connor - Connie, and Braden- Brandon!

pirate: Gregory Robert (he goes by Greg; Robert is for both of his grandfathers)
princess: Christa Lynne (Lynne is one grandmother's middle name)

We live in a relatively small town, so neither has ever had kids in their class with the same name, although Christa gets a lot of "Crystal/Christina/Kristen" confusion. But confusion is still better than being one of the seemingly endless Ryans, Kelseys, or Amandas that now populate the high school.

My kids names are in my siggy.

Their full names are

Joshua Daniel
Samuel James
Maximus David
Freya Charlotte

My daughter is Claire Margery. The "Margery" is my very dearest friend's name and the "Claire" is just because I love the name!!!

I only havew the one child, but have cats with people names...Henry, Marty, Vinny and Leonard. Okay, not helpful!!!:)

All my animals have people names too-I use all my favourite names on my animals so I have 2 cats called Ruby and Emery and 2 dogs called Jasper and Gus :)

Ryan Joseph 13 Joseph after my baby brother Joseph Jacob
Elizabeth Selene 9 Selene after my grandmother Selene Hope
Jacob Michael 6 Jacob fav. name and my baby brother and After dh Dean Michael
trying for number 4
Really like Victoria Denise (Denise after my mom Linda Denise)
or Janelle FaeMarie (Fae Marie bf from Highschool died recently)

Our dd is Josephine Grace - 'Joey'

if we would have had a boy, he would have been Wesley James

congrats and happy naming!!

Hi IBnF!
I looked through this entire thread to see if there was another Tatum or Helen and you were the only one I found! I have to say that a few of my pregnant friends loved the name Tatum but when they talked to the men in their lives about it as a possibility...they were like NO WAY....

I have a Tatum almost 8yrs => I call her Tate a lot...the name was picked from an Anne Geddes' name book..almost went with Olivia but really glad Tatum won out....it fits her perfect!

I also have a Helen Elise 6yrs => went through many names in the hospital because I thought I "knew" it was a boy and had NO girl names picked out...after trying so hard to pick one, I finally thought naming her after my beloved Gramma would be so meaningful...I thought we would cutesy it up by calling her Ellie but it just didn't stick...she is Helen through and through and just like Tatum...it fits her prefectly!

!

I have a DD named Taytem. She's 9 and she is the only Taytem I know. I loved the name and it fits her perfectly. We call her Tate or Tatie (like Katie with a T). Her full name is Taytem Ann.

My DD6 is named Payton Marie. Payton is a variant of Patrick and Patricia, which is my mom's name. I love both my girls names and neither has ever had another one in their class, although I do hear Payton alot more often than Taytem.

Wyatt Marshall

and I have another one on the way (don't know the gender)...
if it's a boy:

Rhett Ernest (Ernest is my dad)

no idea for girl names so I'm watching this thread too!

Neither of my kids are named after anyone. Just names DH and I both liked.
Austin Michael
and
Kylie Elizabeth

I recently found out I am pregnant an figure it's never too soon to start playing the name game. I scanned books and websites with my first child. I thought it would be fun to get some ideas here.

If you feel comfortable sharing I would appreciate it if you would post your child's 1st name. Thanks!

Jonathan Michael

Jacob Tyler - Jacob was the only boy name we could agree on and we sometimes call him Jake. His middle name was chosen by my DH right after he was born. I told him since it was a boy he could choose. (He would've been Alyssa if he was a girl.)

Jenna Renee - We both liked the name and my middle name is also Renee. (She would have been Zachary/Zack if she was a boy.) I was once asked if I named her after the "Survivor" winner while standing in line at a checkout. I was like, ummm no I just liked the name :lmao:

Funny enough, my DH & his 2 brothers also have a "J" name so at his parents house around holiday time it can get pretty crazy when having a conversation! Jacob, Jenna, Jamie (DH), Jeremy or Joey :rotfl:

Also, just by coincidence, on my side my sister has Jackson Robert. So when the 3 kids are at the grandparents they get called by all of those!! Jake, Jenna or Jack!!!

Mine are:

Kayla Noelle
Jonah Gray
Olivia Grace
Alexa Faith

guess I need to change my user name as we now have been blessedby4!!

Mine are :
Aubrey Taylor (Taylor was DH's great grandmothers maiden name) DD has never had another Aubrey in her class.

Ashton Burke (Burke is dh's middle name.) He's only 8 mos so he hasn't complained yet! LOL

Congrats!

DS is Connor James, I have loved the name Connor for several years and I was determined to use that name, no matter what. DH knew when he married me that if we had a boy, that would be his first name;) James is my grandpa's first name.

DD is Chloe Brielle. We had a hard time coming up with girl names that we both liked. I had a list and DH had a list and the only names that matched where Chloe and Brielle. We thought it sounded better with Chloe first. I hadn't seen any Chloe's in our area until after she was born. We have had 2 other chloe's at her babysitter, and now there is another one in her pre-k. I sometimes wish we would have named her Brielle first, because it is so unique.
