The arcade card is (I believe this is still true) the only thing that you can purchase without your room number. At the arcade, you insert your KTTW card and you can put on it the amount that you want the arcade card to be for. Your KTTW card will automatically charge your room account.
We got a $10 card for our ds-12, that was all he used on the 3-night. It can only be used at the arcade.
This is where you need to be careful if your child has charging priviledges. Although I knew he would be responsible and not charge on the card, we still had his charging priv. taken off at guest services. Because if he had lost his card, someone else could use it at the arcade. Someone had a thread about this in the spring/summer that this had happened to them.
Someone correct me if they have changed this system.
