What is American Express White Glove Package?

What is the White Glove package? What is included and how do I purchase one?

My dh & I just booked our first Disney Cruise for this April. Here's what I found out about the White Glove Treatment:

If you pay for your entire trip with American Express, you get special perks such as: Disney trading pin, white glove beach chair, priority reservations at Palo, 8x10 photo with a Disney Character & 10% off shore excursions. Plus we were told we get a lot of on-board perks, but they wouldn't specify.

I believe they have different levels of the White Glove Treatment, some including on-board credit. Our package is called the AmEx M.E. which stands for the Magical Escape package. You can either call your Disney T.A. or American Express Travel at 1-800-AXP-TRIP.

We are booked on the June 22 Magic, having booked on AMEX and we plan on paying the balance off on AMEX. We recently inquired about the AMEX White Glove package; Disney said it wasn't available for our particular cruise. If anyone has any different experiences, please list them here. In any case, make sure you check with Disney for information. Have a great cruise!

I contacted the DCL and American Express. There are packages available for categories 4 and above for you cruise date and ours. We leave port the following week, June 29. One is the White Glove Caribbean Magic Vacation Package. If you are in Cat 1,2 or 3 you are not available for these packages. If you need more details, you can call Am Ex at 800-443-7672.

Thank you so much for the information. I called AMEX and they said our TA (DU, in our case) has to call and make the arrangements, so I have sent an email off to DU and will keep everyone posted on what we find out. I am really excited at the prospect of our AMEX providing some perk--any perk!!!--we couldn't use our skymiles for the airfare for this trip and are still using that card to pay for the trip, so there has to be SOME BENEFIT, right?

Just heard back from DU that our sailing date (6/22) is blacked out for the caribbean magic package. The only way to get any AMEX perks is to cancel current reservation and book through AMEX (losing all early booking discounts, etc. and I know for sure our cruise is completely booked, so no way to change reservation).
So, no go. That's the bad news. The good news is we are only about 105 days away from our MAGICAL trip!

Good luck to everyone else. You should definitely look into it for your sail dates.
