I am hearing alot of information about AAA. I was wondering what they are offering for 2006? Does anyone know if they are still offering unlimited FP? Are they offering any other promotions? I would like to know as much as possible to determine if I should become a member. We don't live in a AAA area but my mother does. I could have it sent there. Thanks

I just picked up their 2006 guide for DL. Yes, they are still offering the unlimited FP. You should be able to get one mailed to you or pick it up at the local AAA office. They are also offering good ticket rates.

Thank you for the quick reply do you mind sharing with me what the rates are for a 5 day hopper for adults and kids. And are they offering kids get in free with a paying adult. Thanks

I just went to their site, and the ticket promotion I saw was "everyone pays the child price for hoppers". Your mom could register for their online booking engine using her card #.

The kids free deal expires at the end of April. We are going in June and got unlimited FP's, lanyards, pins, luggage tags, early entry in toontown for something called Mickey's Morning Madness, preferred seating at 4 shows (Alladin being the most important) and I think 15% off our room at GC. My book says a 5 day parkhopper (they call them passport plus) is $179 adult/$149 child.

Sorry for this dumb ? but what does "FP" stand for?

I would like to know as well. We are trying to go in May, but I don't need any passes to get in to the parks.

Do you have to book your vacation thru AAA?

Do you have to book by April or go in April to get the extra goodies? Also were they free with booking an entire package or just parts of it, e.g. park tickets.

I just booked with AAA for 3 nights (April 2, 3, and 4) at the Disneyland Hotel and 3-day hopper passes for 2 adults, 3 children. Our office out here (South Jersey) was a little clueless at first, but this is what she told me I'd get for $1,066 (or $1,166 with trip insurance)

Unlimited Fastpass
A free mug with 5 free refills (any idea WHERE we would be refilling said mugs?)
Early Entry one day (maybe more, if the DLH coninues to let hotel guests have EE)
Toontown Morning Madness
Pin/lanyard

She said that the tickets were 1 free child ticket for every adult, so we are paying for 2 adults and one child. However, from eveything I've seen online etc. I though the deal was everyone paying children's prices. I guess I'll get the details when I get my stuff in the mail.

There is a $200 deposit required when making the ressie, with the balance due 30 days out.

There are some changes in the cancellation policy as well. For example, if you want to ADD days to your ressie there will be no pentaly. If you decide to delete or just make a change you will be chared anaywhere from $25-$75, so if in doubt make a reservation for fewer days!! After you make a reservation and you need to cancel, it can cost you from $100 to 50% of your package, depending how far our your cancellation is. The stiffest penatlies occur from 0-4 days out.

Hope this helps!

By the way, had I booked through the Disnyeland website, for the same days hotel and tickets, then it would have cost me over $200 more.

It says "travel by April 27" for the kids free deal. And yes, you have to book a package (room and tickets) thru AAA to get all the deals listed above.

FP is fastpass. there should be info on them on the DL or WDW websites

My AAA agent checked and there are only 3 places you can refill the mugs. I am not sure of the exact locations, but she said it is 1 in DL, 1 In DCA, And one at a resort. We would have had to pay a penalty fee to rebook to get the mugs so I said no. We had booked in November and received a better deal by not getting the AAA discount but we got the $150 Disney card, unlimited fastpass, early entry, Mickey's mornig madness, and preferred seating to 4 shows.

Which 4 shows does this include?

I read through this thread and may have missed this, but here it is anyways.

I was talking to an AAA agent and she said the unlimited FP was only issued to guests staying on-site. If you decided to stay off-site you are only eligible for the standard FP.
