A swimmer's chamois is just like a chamois you would use on your car after youv'e washed it. It is a special cloth that feels almost like a piece of leather, it absorbs water but not like a towel that feels wet and heavy. Swimmers use it when they get out of the pool to quickly dry off. If you've ever watched competition divinig, like the olympics, divers use this to dry off when they get out of the pool from performing a dive. Make any sense?? Hope so.

Anyway, see if you have any Speedo stores near you. They'll have them. If not, call your local YMCA and ask to speak to their swimming coach for their swim team. He/she should be able to tell you where to get one. Most likely a swimming supply company (one that supplies swim suits and googles and such for competitive swimmers) like Metro.
