What is a "ressie?"

I keep seeing the words "ressie" or "ressies" on this Disboards.com What are they? I've never heard of the word before. I never see these words on other message boards. Is it a different way of saying "reservations?"

Please advise. I am new on here.

I haven't stayed at Fort Wilderness in ages. What changes have occured in the last 15 years? I understand River Country is closed, but what else? I'm glad I see where I can bring my pets this time.

Be sure you let WDW know you are bringing a dog so you can be assigned to a pet loop. And be sure you have a hard side RV if you intend to leave the dog when you leave the campsite.

Thanks for the info - I didn't know you could bring your dog. That's the only one I miss when I am away. He is so good. Do you keep your dog in the camper while you are out or do they have to go to the kennel?

If you have a hard sided camper with A/C you can leave him/her in the camper. Some also use the kennel for daycare while at the parks. Our dog loves camping and especially the Fort.

or you have really good friends campin' at the same time and they take your favorite family member(s) out during the day while you are park hoppin'.
