I keep reading about people being on a repo cruise. What is it exactly?

Repo is short for Repositioning
The cruises taking the Magic from Port Canaveral to LA and LA back to Port Canaveral.

These are the REPO-sitioning cruises where the ship travels between Los Angeles, California and Port Canaveral, Florida via the Panama Canal. The Magic travelled westbound on May 14 for the summer and will be returning to Florida on August 20, 2005.

DCL is REPOsitioning the Magic from Port Canaveral to the Port of Los Angeles so it can be used to cruise the Mexican Riviera this summer. Many cruise lines have repositioning cruises when they change their base of operation temporarily...Then they reposition them back...
