What is a "preferred room"

I'm looking at either CBR or POR, and have been searching, but can't find the info. What exactly does a preferred room entail? Is it simply location, or room view, or both?

Being closer to the main/feature pool and food court.

CBR and POR are both pretty big spread out resorts. I wouldn't stay at either one unless I booked a preferred room. I actually won't stay onsite unless it is a preferred room. We eat breakfast at the resort every day and I don't want to have to drive to the food court or walk for 10 minutes to get there.

It costs more. I think the preferred rooms at moderates are about $25 a day more but so worth it to me.
