When you go to the grocery store, head on over to the veggie department, pick up some veggies or fruit & place them on the scale...what do you notice? Sometimes you want only a pound of something and when you put the food on you realize it's only half a pound. So what do you do? You slowly add more to make it go to the pound mark. When you're finally done you note that there is a lot of "stuff" there.
Same thing for the deli department. You ask for a pound of cheese. The deli person starts slicing and puts the meat on the scale. You think it's a lot but it hasn't reached that pound mark. SO you watch as they keep adding and adding more meat to the pile. By the end that pile is pretty high and you have a lot of meat sitting there.
Why am I writing all this?? Because I've sat back and read many of your posts because as I stated in a previous post of mine that I find you to all be a group of positive supportive people and at this point in time in my life I need to be exposed to that. While reading those posts I've noticed some people say I lost only .5 of a lb or only 1 pound. Do you realize just how mich 1 pound is???
Pick up a jar of sauce...a bag of frozen veggies and feel just how heavy a pound is. It's A LOT!!!! So for all of you who have lost "only" a pound...I say the same as all the others....GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
