What is a Magical Moments Certificate?

A crew member chooses you or a member of your family for a special moment... It could be anything at all, and then you get a certificate that says that you have been given a magical moment. We've had 2- one from a lovely lady in the shops who said that we actually gave her a Magical moment every time we shopped :) and one from our room host who planned a private towel animal folding session for our kids. He also arranged for little treats to be sent to us each day.
Other than being gracious, kind and happy I have no idea what we did to be chosen!

DS5 got one on our cruise. He and another boy were first in line for the Club and got to "open" the club for the cruise. With a ribbon cutting ceremony and photos. We got a certificate, the photo and a small backpack; it was a wonderful surprise for our first day of our first Disney cruise.

We got one from Rodrigo from Chile who works in Sea Treasures on the Fantasy (merchandise). He and DD were 'spelling pals.' He was so nice. We were excited to see him working at Quacks (the shopping kiosk on Deck 11) & again on CC. He was totally awesome. DD loved the Magical Moments certificate; Rodrigo left it in our FE and attached a pin to it for her too!!! Very cool. It's the little things, right?!?!? ;)

I also got a magical moment certificate on our cruise in February. A crew member from the gift shop gave it to me. It was my birthday and my mom had given me a chamilla bracelet at dinner and after dinner we went to the gift shop to buy one of the cruise exclusive charms and the next day when I returned to the cabin during the day there was a bag hanging in the door - it was in the bag and it had a ribbon and a pin on it. Very nice! I went back and thanked him because the name is on the certificate.

On our first cruise, the officer in charge of housekeeping came to our cabin and gave my then 7 year old DD (and DH and me too) lessons on towel animal folding. She got a very memorable moment and a certificate to boot!

DS got one because it was his first cruise. The concierge staff left it in our room with a button; it was cute, but since there was no nice moment with it, it's kind of pointless IMO. I don't need a lesson or whatever, but if they'd presented it to him it would have meant a bit more than to just find it on the bed. Know what I mean?

We received one on our Alaska cruise last month.... from our dining room serving team. Along with the certfiate they presented us with a lovely DCL bowl that was specially decorated for us, commemorating our Alaska cruise and naming us as a "Magical Family." I really don't know why they chose us, but we were completely blown away by it!

Wow, that bowl is amazing.

Yes, and it was all done with Sharpies... you can see the little marks from filling in the letters. The only part that looks to have been already on the bowl is the Mickey head and paintbrush design. As I said before.... we were blown away by the gift and certificate. We felt we should be giving THEM a gift, not the other way around!

We received one from our favorite bartender Yelena after spending so much time bonding with her. She sent us two light up pirate dcl cups, and a dcl cooler. We leave in 11 days for our next cruise and we can't find any info that she's still around!

So cool that bowl is amazing! Disney really out does themselves and people question "why disney" reasons like that is why you choose Disney. I had no idea extra magical things were going on, Disney makes it magic for everyone with or without the extras :cheer2:

The head chef at Triton's gave us one. DS was disappointed that the Mickey bars were unsafe with his nut allergies and the chef made a special dessert for him every night. We also received a beautiful plate of chocolate covered strawberries in our room every day, with a nice note from the chef:goodvibes

That's exactly what will get you chosen! CM's see a LOT of crabby people, it's refreshing to encounter someone friendly!

We also received one from our stateroom host for a private towel folding lesson in our room. It was awesome! And I was very thankful to her.
